My Ninja blitzer is my best friend in the morning. Let’s face it, nothing else runs on 1500 watts at 7am, and that’s the kinda company you need at breakfast time.
Banana ice-cream has been a major favourite of mine lately. It’s so easy, quick to make, and takes on any flavour challenge you throw into it. This is just one extravagant example!
~3/4 frozen bananas (blitzed in a food processor/blender)
~Hazelnut spread
~1 tbsp Goji Berries
~1 tbsp Cacao nibs
Very chuffed to find cacao nibs in Fallon&Byrne in town for a much cheaper price than in the health shops! Couldn’t believe it considering that they otherwise charge 6 euro for a small box of Weetabix. Anyway, I try and get some small amount of cacao into my diet everyday; its much better than milk chocolate will ever be and actually contains a whopper load of positive nutritional benefits, as do the goji berries and hazelnut spread. Also mad into the nut butters at the moment: almond is at the top of the pyrimid.
I dare you not to try this without being blown away. Let’s all appreciate how good this vegan ice-cream is; how could it not be, when you get to have it every day for breakfast?
