Utterly. Divine. At the moment, this is my all time favourite breakfast. I think I’ve had it three times the past week, and I normally love to vary my breakfasts! This, I cannot resist. The second I’ve licked the last spoon, I satisfactorily reassure myself that I’ll have it again the next morning!
~1 tsp Maca Powder
~5 dates (chopped in half and thirds)
~1 tbsp Raw Cacao Nibs
Blitz the frozen bananas, adding the maca after a few whizzes. Depending on both the power and type of blender you’re using, the ice-cream making process using frozen bananas will differ. Using my Ninja food processor, it turns into crumble first. This is when I add the maca! I like finding chunks of those chewy dates in my ice-cream so I blend the dates towards the end, and top with a small sprinkling of cacao nibs. You gotta really crunch on those cacao chiips to release their full rich deep flavour, which combines magnificently with the caramel dates, maca flavour and banana sweetness. Love in a bowl.
