Melons have a very high water content, so I would really recommend only having them in the morning as they digest so much faster than anything else you’re going to eat during the rest of the day. Also with melons it’s best to keep it simple! The figs here are optional, if using dried figs then definitely soak them overnight. It’s easier to digest and gives them back a small amount of the water that’s been drained from them!
~1/2 Melon (I use canary melon, but cantaloupe should work also)
~3 or 4 Frozen Bananas
~2 Dried Figs (soaked overnight) or 3 fresh figs
~1 tsp Maca Powder or 1 scoop Raw Vegan Vanilla Sunwarrior Protein Powder (I add this if I’m working out that day)
